who are responsible for the manufacture,
storage, workflow and distribution of all
Equity and Economic research.
Job Description
This role is part operational and part strategic.
The Business Analyst (BA) is expected to
be able to contribute to all aspects of
Strategic Business Analysis through to Tactical
Business Analysis, with the capacity to
research new opportunities for business
process changes or system modifications.
The BA acts as a change agent, managing
communications between the Business Sponsors,
IT and other key Stakeholders. The BA is
responsible for the consistency of the project
methodology. In addition to deepening their
own technical and business knowledge, the
BA would also be expected to develop the
Associate Business Analysts in the team
through project related learning.
Job Requirements
The Candidate should have the following
skills:
• Specialist skill in one or more
aspects of Business Analysis
• Strategic and tactical Business
Analysis skills to an intermediate level
• Ability to perform project management
tasks (e.g. project plans, project budgets,
etc) to an intermediate level
• Ability to influences stakeholders
and sponsors to an intermediate level
• Ability to prepare and deliver communications
for the project team, stakeholders and sponsors
• Ability to plan & organise on
behalf of the BA team
• Understanding of the principles
of Quality Management, Continuous Improvement
and Business Excellence to an intermediate
level
• Ability to identify and manage risks
and issues to an intermediate level
• Ability to identify and manage project
metrics & measurements
• Understanding of project and process
methodologies to an intermediate level
• Ability to contribute to the knowledge
management of each project and the BA team
• Ability to manage and develop the
skill set of Associate Business Analysts,
within the team and within the company
