Position: Senior Business Analyst

Job Function
The candidate will be working in Equities Research and Distribution IT department who are responsible for the manufacture, storage, workflow and distribution of all Equity and Economic research.

Job Description
This role is a managerial and strategic role. The Senior Business Analyst is expected to contribute to all aspects of Strategic Business Analysis through to Tactical Business Analysis, in addition to the management and development of both Business Analysts and Associate Business Analysts in the team. The Senior Business Analyst would be expected to conceptualise and propose new business change programmes, business process changes or system modifications. The Senior Business Analyst acts as a catalyst for change by influencing executive and senior management and taking responsibility for the communications between Business Sponsors, IT and other key Stakeholders. The Senior Business Analyst is viewed as a key resource in setting future direction with business and divisional leaders.

Job Requirements
The candidate should have the following skills:
• Expert skill in all aspects of Business Analysis
• Strategic and tactical Business Analysis skills to an expert level
• Ability to manage the Business Analysis components of project tasks
• Ability to influences stakeholders and sponsors to an expert level
• Ability to prepare and deliver communications for the project team, stakeholders and sponsors
• Ability to plan, organise and develop the Business Analysis team and resources
• Understanding of the principles of Quality Management, Continuous Improvement and Business Excellence to an expert level
• Ability to identify and manage project metrics & measurements to an expert level
• Ability to identify and manage risks and issues to an expert level
• Understanding of project and process methodologies to an expert level
• Ability to contribute to the knowledge management of the Business Analysis team, each project and the company
• Ability to manage and develop the skill set of Business Analysts, within the team and within the company
