| We currently develop and
maintain in-house applications to support
manual trading, and to provide automated
trading including DMA and algorithmic trading
(VWAP, Inline with Volume, Implementation
Shortfall, etc). The applications have enabled
us to handle a substantial fraction of the
shares traded in the major European markets.
We are looking to strengthen the team by
recruiting a high-quality Java server-side
developer who has the potential to become
a senior member of the team. This could
be into a team lead role, a technical specialist,
or trading technology specialist.
As well as general development we are looking
to centralise existing static and market
data components across current systems as
an integral part of further developing our
order management trading systems.
The development team is an integral part
of a high energy front-office environment.
As a result, the successful candidate will
need to be highly committed, and be able
to build very close working relationships
with the business, support teams and allied
development teams.
The successful candidate will have a strong
focus on ownership of development tasks
and commitment to completing them in a timely
way. Experience of agile programming technologies
will be an advantage.
