Job Overview / Purpose
Provision of specialist commercial contractual
support to allocated projects with the objective
of mitigating contract and legal risk and optimising
business performance.

Policies and Processes
Communicate and implement across allocated projects
corporate controls, policies process and procedures
to mitigate unnecessary contract and legal
risk.

Reporting
Provide monthly reporting information on allocated
projects to line manager identifying contract
and legal risk to help raise awareness and
problem solving.

Managing Contract & Legal Risk
Under direction of line manager act as the single
point of contact in the pre and post contract
environment for allocated projects to help
identify, analyse, mitigate and manage legal/contractual/commercial
risk within prime/sub-contracts.

Regular peer dialogue

Participation in project management forums.

Occurrence of unidentified/unmanaged risk

Regular Contract review/reporting
·
Review and analysis of contracts and contract
changes in accordance with policies
Key Skills, Knowledge and Level
·
5 years minimum experience in a commercial role
within a comparable services/outsourcing environment
·
Acceptable qualification and practitioner competence
in contract law and its application to commercial
agreements
·
Experience in closing contracts and supporting
the management of contract claims
·
Previous experience of customer relationship
management.
